After School Program
We are accepting ongoing registration for our Girls In Action After
School Program at the Wally Elmer Neighbourhood Centre. The
program takes place from 2:30 to 5:30 Mondays, Tuesday and
Thursdays. Participants are girls in grades 2 to 8. For more

Girls Inc. General Membership
Stay in the know by joining our General Membership! When you are a member of Girls Inc. you will
receive our newsletters, be able to participate in special activities, such as field trips or camp, and be able
to take advantage of the great information and activities available on our national website. Membership is
free. To become a General Member, please download, fill out and return our Girls Inc. General Agency
Member Consent Form
and return it to our office by mail or fax to our office, or by scan/email to

Girls Inc. Limestone delivers programs and services designed to meet the unique needs of girls and young
women in our community. Our program grouping provides services for all girls - girls who need intensive,
ongoing support, girls whose needs are best met through participation in a topic-specific workshop series,
and girls who benefit from receiving ongoing girl-specific information and occasional support. We serve
girls from 5 to 21 in Frontenac, Lennox and Addington, Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.

Girls Inc. FOCUS Program
The Girls Inc. FOCUS Program was designed by agency staff, and is funded by Service Canada. Through
this program, we will work with 7 young women in Kingston and 7 young women in Belleville per program
round while they enhance their employment skills, make critical life-path decisions, and focus on
achieving employment success and financial security. To be elibigle for this program you must be
between 15 and 30, and not currently employed. This is a life-changing program that includes education
in all areas pertaining to personal growth, financial management, problem-solving, employment, and many
others

We continually accept applications for our
FOCUS PROGRAM, as we have two more scheduled program
rounds in Kingston and Belleville starting in February 2012 and July 2012. Please complete and return the

Girls Inc. School Groups
Throughout the school year, we continuously run in-school groups for girls on a wide variety of topics,
from bullying and relational aggression, to self-esteem and body image, to peer pressure and healthy
relationships.
