There are many different types of volunteer opportunities available at Girls Inc. - from mentoring volunteers to group program volunteers, to administrative volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a Mentor, please see our Mentoring Program link for more information. We would very much appreciate the support of volunteers in the following areas: GIRLS ED VOLUNTEERS Girls Ed volunteers help supervise our participant girls at our "Girls In Action" After School Program at the Wally Elmer Neighbourhood Centre and other Girls Group activities.. We welcome the support of teenaged girls and women of all ages - this is a great way for high school students to get some experience and obtain their 40 service hours! In addition we are seeking female and male community experts in numerous areas to facilate healthy lifestyle workshops for girls. Examples include dance instructors and instructors in all athletic areas. ADMINISTRATIVE VOLUNTEERS Administrative volunteers help our Board of Directors manage the governance areas of operation.
