Smart Start is a life-changing youth employment program that helps young women from 15 to 30 achieve financial self-sufficiency. We are holding OPEN HOUSES in Belleville and Kingston on April 4, 2023. If you are not employed or in school and are eligible to work in Canada, we encourage you to come and see if Smart Start is a good fit for you! Program participants are paid a training allowance and earn wages while they gain work experience and make important decisions about the future. The Girls Inc. Limestone Teen Advocacy Council is for self-identified girls and gender-expansive youth ages 14 to 18 in KFL&A and H&PE. Participants will be compensated for their time as they build their leadership skills and take on an advocacy project important to them.
